Description: Prestain wood conditioner is often (more...) necessary when staining wood. Tim Carter of AsktheBuilder.com demonstrates why it's a must to use wood sealant before staining soft wood. Soft wood, such as white pine, is very porous and will soak up too much of the stain. This won't let the grain of the wood show through. Paint the wood conditioner on and it drys in just fifteen minutes. Then, you can stain your wood and get a beautiful finish. Watch this video AsktheBuilder.com for more details. (less)

Description: Non-woven wallpaper is easy to install, (more...) and it's reusable. Tim Carter of AsktheBuilder.com explains how this cool wallpaper is different because it doesn't expand when the adhesive contacts the paper backing. These new non-woven wallpapers are huge time savers because there is no need to pre-paste a sheet of paper and book it while you work on another piece. (less)
