How Quagmire the Bearded Dragon got his name
Produced By:
CritterCampMom on 23 Oct 2006
Category: Other
Description: Quagmire is a bearded dragon living here (more...) at our exotic pet rescue shelter and sanctuary, CritterCamp.biz . Beardies bob their head when they are excited, escpecially when a male spots a female. Here Quag is bobbing like crazy because he sees Fiona, a female, just out of his reach. He usually cannot see her and is much calmer. His head bobbing looks like the character Quagmire on Family Guy. You can almost hear our Quag saying 'giggedy giggedy'.
Bearded dragons are native to Australia, but are becoming more common as pets here in the U.S. We currently care for 3 beardies among the 100+ rescued animals here. (less)
