The cactus here in Arizona are blooming up a storm right now, and it made me think of this painting I did, so I thought I'd throw it up now. The pears of this prickly bugger are used in many ways, as a jam and candy. The blue you see on all of the needles and berries are a masking fluid to keep the paper white and dry.
